Jobstimate is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@jobstimate.biz for any privacy question or request.

Account details — your name, email address, business name, business contact details and logo where you choose to add them.

Job content — photos you upload, job descriptions, dimensions, site and access notes, customer addresses you enter, and the estimates and quotes generated from them.

Billing data — subscription status and payment references. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored by us.

Technical data — basic device, browser and usage information needed to keep the app secure and working reliably.

We use your data to create your account, generate estimates from your photos and job details, store your quotes, produce printable and emailable documents, take payment for paid plans, provide support, and improve the accuracy and reliability of the service.

Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (providing the app you signed up for), legitimate interests (keeping the service secure and improving it) and consent where you have given it, for example for optional marketing email.

Job photos and descriptions are sent to our AI model provider to produce your estimate. They are processed to return your result and are not used to train third-party public models. Do not upload photos containing personal information you would not want processed this way.

We share data only with service providers who help us run Jobstimate — hosting and database providers, our AI model provider, our payment provider and email delivery. Each is bound by contract to protect your data. We never sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law.

Data is stored on secure servers within the UK/EU or in countries with appropriate safeguards. We keep your account and quote data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and content at any time.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent where processing relies on it. To exercise any right, email us and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We may update this policy as the service develops. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email, and the date at the top of this page will always show the current version.
